GREEN TOWNSHIP – Jack Murphy was match medalist but Waynesville topped Wilmington 176 to 180 Monday in a non-league match at Snow Hill Country Club.

The Spartans had five scores between 42 and 48 with Sam Warren posting a 42.

Murphy birdied the first hole and finished at 2-over 37 for Wilmington, 10-3 on the season.

Brady Leathley had a 46 and Brady Evans shot 47 for the Hurricane.

Braydon Conley came in with a 50, Braden Harmeling 51 and Joey Bush 52.
