Massie sloppy but victorious over Goshen

GOSHEN — It was one of those nights when her team didn’t play well but still managed to pull out a win.

Clinton-Massie defeated Goshen 25-22, 25-18, 25-21 Monday in SBAAC American Division volleyball at the GHS gym.

“We played sloppy and didn’t take care of the ball very well at times,” CM coach Stephanie Reveal said. “But then we turn around and pull right back into the set play very well. We missed a lot of serves, a total of 11, so I’m happy we were able to pull out the win.”

Kennedy Thompson had five points, four aces, 26 assists and 11 digs. Carly Moritz finished with seven points, six kills, two aces and 13 digs. Cadin Reveal contributed 10 points, 13 kills, two assists, four aces, 17 digs and three blocks.

Hannah Doss had 10 points. Delany Miller totaled four points, six kills, three aces, 16 digs and one block. Rylee Richardson posted six points, 14 kills, 18 digs and five blocks.
