The Blanchester Middle School football team defeated Williamsburg 32-0 Wednesday afternoon.

Special teams helped Blanchester set the tone early in the game as Bryce Sipple had three great returns, Blan coach Dan Peters said.

On the first play from scrimmage, Sipple threw 23 yards to Michael Mulvihill for a touchdown.

Sipple also ran for a pair of scores while Mulvihill scored a rushing touchdown.

Dameon Williams had 34 yards rushing. Peters noted there were 12 different ball carriers for the Wildcats.

“Our big guys got a chance to line up in the backfield and make an impact — Collin Elston, Cameron Pelosi, Xavier Tedrick, Jarod Daniels and Jude Huston,” said Peters.

On defense, Blanchester gave up just two first downs.
