Woods signs to play golf at Findlay Univ.

Clinton-Massie senior golfer Gabby Woods signed a National Letter of Intent on Friday to play collegiately for the University of Findlay, an NCAA Division II program in Northwest Ohio.

Woods holds the Clinton-Massie girls golf scoring record for nine holes (29) and 18 holes (67). She was a three-time SBAAC Player of the Year, SOPGA Player of the Year and tied for fourth place in Division II at th state tournament. A first-team All-Ohio selection, Woods set a girls all-division state tournament scoring record by shooting 67 in the first round.

She also was named first team and player of the year Southwest Ohio High School Girls Golf Coaches Association.

The University of Findlay women’s golf team ranked fourth national in the latest Women’s Golf Coaches Association NCAA Division II poll.
