WHS bowlers sweep 2 from Massie

WILMINGTON — With both teams on top of their game, Wilmington outslugged Clinton-Massie 2,593 to 2,517 Wednesday in boys bowling action at Royal Z Lanes.

On the girls side in SBAAC American Division competition, the Lady Hurricane posted a 1,809 to 1,729 win over the Lady Falcons.

Ariel Comberger led the WHS girls with games of 170 and 183.

Abby Schneider had two 157 games for Clinton-Massie.

In the boys match, Grant Pickard had games of 237 and 227 for the Hurricane while Jordan Tackett had 216 and 207. Jordan Macik had a single game of 222.

For Clinton-Massie, Adin Lamb had a 253 game en route to a match-high 468 series.

In the baker games, Clinton-Massie had a three-game series of 627 while the Hurricane finished with 589.
