INDIAN HILL — Clinton-Massie fell behind 20-5 after one quarter and lost to Indian Hill 69-36 Monday in a non-league girls basketball game.

The Lady Falcons (0-3) finished the game strong, outscoring the Lady Braves 16-12 in the final quarter.

“Lost the second half by six (24-18) when they still had starters on the floor with a couple minutes to go,” CM coach Tim McGraw said.

Patience Chowning hit three of her four three-pointers in the fourth quarter and paced the Clinton-Massie offense with 15 points.

Hannah Doss had a trio of three-pointers in the first half and finished with 11 points.

“Turnovers continue to be an area that we need to improve on if we wan to win basketball games,” McGraw said.

Overall, though, the Lady Falcons “continue to get better every game,” he added.
