The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade girls basketball teams posted a pair of wins Thursday over Felicity.

The eighth grade Ladycats evened their record at 1-1 with a 26-7 win.

Kaylee Coyle led Blanchester with 11 points.

Abbey Irwin totaled five points and Macey Waldron and Desiree Snader had four points each. Shelbie Panetta finished with two points. Gracie Roy and Hope Blankenbeckler had strong defensive games, the coaches said.

The Blanchester seventh grade was a 42-2 winner and is 2-0 on the year.

Kylee Hamm and Torie Potts had 12 points each and Maddie Gillman added eight. Alayna Davenport and Audri Byrom scored four points apiece and Bobbi Sue White rounded out the scoring with two points.
