WILMINGTON — Ohio Athletic Conference front-runner Ohio Northern remained unbeaten Wednesday with a 72-64 win over Wilmington at Fred Raizk Arena.

The Polar Bears are 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the OAC.

The win is the 14th straight for Ohio Northern over Wilmington since WC joined the OAC.

Wilmington came in to the game fifth in the country in scoring at 87.8 points per game.

McKayla and Hannah Binkley had 14 points each to lead WC. Zahrya Bailey came off the bench with six assists and two steals

But ONU never trailed after that and Wilmington was never able to seriously threaten down the stretch.

The teams posted near identical statistics across the board except on the boards where Ohio Northern held a 50-25 advantage in rebounds.
