ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The Clinton-Massie junior varsity boys basketball team was defeated by Edgewood 55-36 Tuesday in a non-league game at the Lebanon Road gym.

Coach Steven Gerber said his Falcons struggled offensively in the first half, falling behind 24-4.

Massie outscored Edgewood 20-16 in the third quarter to pull within 40-24. Gerber said his Falcons are a young team that is still learning to play together and learn what each other’s strengths and weaknesses are.

Conner Stulz and Dakota Gasaway had seven points each to lead the CM offense. Ashton Campbell and Alex Jones contributed six points each while Dawson Conley, Ethan Williams, Marty Kreider, Luke Englehard and Gabe McDowell finished with two points each. Colin Swope led CM with 12 rebounds.
