Blan 7th, 8th grade boys split with EC

The Blanchester Middle School boys basketball teams split games with East Clinton on Wednesday.

The eighth grade Wildcats were 57-22 winners.

Bryce Sipple had 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Jansen Wymer had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Wildcats, who had seven turnovers in the game.

Nick Taylor and Quentin Rice had five points each. Braz Byrom finished with five points and five rebounds. Cole Bradley had four points and Collin Elston had three points and five rebounds. Drew Wyss had two points and three steals. Bill Hamm and Caleb Brown chipped in with one point each.

Blanchester was defeated by East Clinton in the seventh grade game 29-24.

Nainoa Tangonan had 11 points to pace the BMS offense. Cole Mueller finished with four points and Bryce Burress contributed three points. Levi Turner, Kaden Cromer and Gabe Black had two points each.
