Registration is open from Feb. 8 through March 7 for children kindergarten through 6th grade for the Wilmington City Recreation Department spring soccer leagues.

Registrations received after March 7 may be permitted if space is available. A $10 late fee will be assessed.

Matches for the spring soccer leagues are planned to be played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, depending on the number of teams. League play will begin March 29 and end April 21, weather permitting. Practice schedules will be set by the coaches. Coaches are to contact players by March 14.

Cost for the program is $20 for Wilmington residents; $15 each additional child. $30 for residents outside city limits; $20 each additional child. Payment must be received by March 7. After March 7 a $10 late fee will be assessed.

Registration and payment should be mailed to City of Wilmington Parks and Recreation, 69 N. South St., Wilmington or dropped off at the athletic coordinator’s office at J.W. Denver Williams Jr. Memorial Park. Make checks payable to: City of Wilmington Parks and Recreation. There will be a $30 charge for returned checks
