BLANCHESTER — The Blanchester reserve girls basketball team wrapped up its season Thursday with a win over Georgetown.
The victory gives the Ladycats a 20-1 record, losing only to Eastern Brown in December. In that game, Blanchester was 3-for-17 at the free throw and lost by eight points, coach Bradon Pyle said.
Overall, Blanchester outscored its opponents 697 to 456. Against Southern Buckeye Conference National Division teams, BHS was 10-0.
The JV teams at BHS the past three seasons have amassed a 30-0 record against league teams and are a combined 57-5 overall in that span.
The 2015-16 girls JV squad consisted of Asia Baldwin, Jordan Fisher, Hayley Wilson, Elecia Patton, Bailey Jorge, Olivia Gundler, Jalyna Ambrocio, Savanna Shank, Alexa Sams, Shelbie Rose, Regan Ostermeier and Dakota Watters.
