EBER — Miami Trace had four players in double figures Saturday in a 69-50 win over Clinton-Massie in non-league boys basketball action at the MTHS gym.

The Falcons were led by Logan Meyers who had nine points, all in the first half.

The win puts the Panthers at 7-5. Clinton-Massie drops to 0-8 following the battle of former South Central Ohio League rivals.

Logan Rodgers and Cameron Moore combined for 13 points of the Panthers’ 22 points in the opening period. Meyers scored five for the Falcons but they trailed 22-13 at the break.

Meyers scored four in the second while the Panthers were extending their lead to 38-23 at halftime. Dylan Bernard scored five in the quarter for Trace.

In the third, Miami Trace pushed its lead to 19, 55-36. Nate Baker had six of his eight points in the quarter but the Falcons were falling too far behind to stage a rally.

In the fourth, Massie put seven players in the scorebook but Trevor Barker had eight for the Panthers who cruised to the 19-point win.
