A county battle highlights the sports schedule Tuesday as Blanchester puts its 9-1 record on the line against Wilmington at Fred Summers Court. The Hurricane is 4-4 under first-year coach Matt Kramer. The Wildcats are led by Brayden Sipple who is averaging 34 points and 11 rebounds a game this season. Only a junior, Sipple is No. 11 on the Clinton County basketball (regardless of gender) all-time scoring list with 1,407 points. He should pass East Clinton’s Robbin Luck Tuesday night for 10th place. Luck finished her career with 1,413 points. Cam Coomer (19 points) and Matt Butcher (16 points) lead the Hurricane. The freshman game is schedule to begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by the reserve and varsity games.
