ADAMS TOWNSHIP — Norwood steadily pulled away from Clinton-Massie Monday night for a 54-42 non-league girls basketball victory at Brian P. Mudd Court.

Massie falls to 2-11 while Norwood improves to 10-2.

“We compete and play hard, we just have a tough time scoring the ball consistently and taking care of the ball,” CM coach Tim McGraw said. “We just have too many turnovers at the wrong times.”

Massie led 13-12 after one but the Indians turned things around in the second period and led 31-21 at halftime. It was 44-29 Norwood after three quarters.

Hannah Doss was the top scorer for Clinton-Massie with 13 points, which included a trio of three-point baskets.

Miranda Crawford added 1o points and “played well at both ends” of the floor, McGraw said.
