Clinton-Massie graduate Chayse Wolf was involved in an all-terrain vehicle crash and had a pair of spinal surgeries.

According to the Facebook page of EmmaLee Wolf, Chayse’s mom, the incident occurred Sunday in West Virginia while Chayse was on a rafting trip.

“He was airlifted to the hospital where he had surgery on his spine,” EmmaLee posted on her Facebook page. “There is some feeling so the doctors are optimistic.”

EmmaLee said a CAT scan following surgery indicated a bone fragment in his spinal canal which required another surgery.

“Prayers would be greatly appreciated,” she posted.

The second surgery took place Monday and EmmaLee posted “The canal is clear. Praise God. Now we pray for muscles to start firing!”

Wolf, a standout on both of Clinton-Massie’s state championship football teams, has signed to play football with Lindsey Wilson College, an NAIA school in Columbia, Ky.
