WILMINGTON — The Wilmington High School boys bowling team improved to 9-1 Wednesday with a win over Hillsboro in non-league action at Royal Z Lanes.
The Lady Hurricane ran into a buzzsaw with a 2,454 to 1,854 loss to Hillsboro.
Ariel Comberger had a 350 two-game series for Wilmington, including a high single game of 190.
Maddie Tomko of Hillsboro had a 266 game and 426 series.
For the boys, Wilmington had another solid night with a 2,644 total. Elijah Martini and Grant Pickard shared top honors for the Hurricane – Martini posting a 469 two-game set with Pickard bowling a 467.
Zach Ison had a 395 tw0-game series for Hillsboro.
