The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade boys basketball teams were defeated in a pair of games Wednesday by Georgetown.

The eighth grade Wildcats were defeated 49-33 and are now 2-6 on the year.

Jansen Wymer led the way with 16 points and six rebounds for Blanchester.

Bryce Sipple had seven points, four rebounds and four blocked shots. Nick Taylor and Sky Smith had three points each while Bill Hamm and Xander Culberson finished with two points each. Caleb Brown contributed five rebounds.

The seventh grade team lost to the G-Men 29-11.

Kaden Cromer had seven points and Gabe Black and Nainoa Tangonan scored two points each.
