GEORGETOWN — The East Clinton girls basketball team was defeated by Georgetown Monday 53-30 in SBAAC National Division play.
It was a close game after one, EC trailed 12-9.
But the Lady G-Men slowly pulled away, leading 23-15 at halftime and 35-25 at the end of the third.
Georgetown outscored East Clinton 18-5 in the fourth quarter.
The loss leaves East Clinton 3-12 overall and 2-7 in the division.
Georgetown improves to 9-8 overall and 6-4 in the National.
