The Blanchester eighth grade boys basketball team lost to Clermont Northeastern 40-39 Wednesday in a Southern Buckeye Conference North Division tournament game.

Tanner Creager had 24 points and four rebounds for Blanchester, which finishes 7-9 on the year.

Hunter Bare scored eight points and grabbed five rebounds. Avin Whitaker had two points and two assists. Braden Roy had two points, two assists and three steals. Kaleb Goodin had two points. Jay Ashcraft had a point and four rebounds.
