WILMINGTON — The Wilmington High School girls soccer team was defeated by Hillsboro 7-1 Saturday in a non-league match at Alumni Field.

Taylor Noszka scored the only goal for Wilmington, the first of the season for the team.

The WHS reserve girls soccer team tied Hillsboro 2-2 in a game played prior to the varsity.

Justice Knauff and Danni Riley had goals for Wilmington.
