WILMINGTON — With a season-best score, the Clinton-Massie girls golf team defeated Greeneview 186 to 202 Monday at the Elks 797 Golf Course.

“The girls keep getting better and that’s what you hope for as you move further into the season,” CM coach Tim McGraw said.

Taylor Anderson led CM, now 4-1 in dual matches, with a 43.

Abby Schneider posted a 45 and Pearl Spurlock came in at 46. Luci Payne shot and 52. Elle Paul had a personal best 52 and Ella McCarren had a personal best 64.
