LYNCHBURG — The Wilmington High School volleyball team was defeated by Lynchburg-Clay 3-1 Tuesday night in non-league action in Highland County.

The Lady Hurricane is 2-3 on the year.

The junior varsity Lady Hurricane was a 25-19, 25-23 winner on Tuesday. The WHS freshman squad also was victorious.
