The Blanchester girls soccer team defeated Purcell-Marian 7-0 Saturday in a non-league match.

“Very proud of the performance in this game by all players,” BHS coach Kristina White said. “The girls played fabulous the entire game, even when they were switched to positions they weren’t as familiar with. The girls stayed grounded and worked as a team to help each other score, which I enjoyed seeing.”

Blanchestser goals were scored by Rylan Coyle (two), Kaylee Coyle, Emma Winemiller, Lana Roy, Jazzalynn Miller and Zoie Stanforth.

Assists were credited to Kaylee Coyle and Lacie Tedrick.
