Huffman, Brausch lead way at Goshen Invitational

GOSHEN — Wilmington had two runners in the top six Monday at the Goshen Invitational cross country meet.

Sophie Huffman of WHS was fourth in 21:04 and teammate Madilyn Brausch was sixth in 21:30. There were 64 runners in the race.

Aubrey Stevens was the first Blanchester runner to hit the the line, placing 25th in 25:24.

In the middle school girls race, Malea Beam of Clinton-Massie was the first county runner, finishing 14th in 14:48. Sara Weller was the first Rodger O. Borror runner to finish.

Massie girls were eighth overall in the team standings.

In the middle school girls open race, Alayna Davenport of Blanchester was 18th in 16:41.
