Blanchester MS boys sweep G-Men back to Georgetown

The Blanchester Middle School boys basketball teams once again played two drastically different games, but both Wildcat teams came out on top Wednesday against Georgetown.

The eighth grade was a 56-54 winner.

Evan Malott made a three-pointer in the closing seconds to lift Blanchester to the victory. He finished with 14 points.

Nainoa Tangonan led the Wildcats with 17 points. Kaden Cromer added 12. Dameon Williams finished with eight and assisted on Malott’s game-winning basket. Bryce Burress had three points and Isaiah Snader chipped in with two.

The seventh grade cruised to a 40-20 win.

Cohen Neff had 12 points and Carson Wyss added 10 points as each Wildcat who played scored in the victory, coach Cade Coyle said.
