OWENSVILLE — The East Clinton junior varsity girls basketball team defeated Clermont Northeastern 36-29 Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Astros, coached by Jeremy McGraw, are now 13-1 on the season.

Jayden Murphy (12) and Jozie Jones (11) combined for 23 points in the win.

Jordan Collom added seven points while Megan Tong chipped in with four. Lauren Runyon rounded out the scoring with two points.
