The Blanchester eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Hamersville 42-39 Monday night.
Kaden Cromer led Blanchester with 16 points.
Dameon Williams scored 10 points and Evan Malott added nine. Isaiah Snader chipped in with five while Nainoa Tangonan rounded out the Wildcats scoring with two.
