WILMINGTON — A day after setting two school records, the East Clinton girls bowling team established three more marks Wednesday at Royal Z Lanes.
The Lady Astros had a record 1,828 and defeated both Blanchester (1,291) and Western Brown (1,241). In the team games, East Clinton had a record 1,506 (701, 805) and then in the baker games set a single game best of 188.
“They are on fire and at the right time, just before the SBAAC tournament,” East Clinton coach Joe Davis said. “We are in prime condition to make our move the way our girls are bowling as a team at this time.”
The league tournament will be held Feb. 6.
EC’s August Morgan set a personal best with a 421 two-game series that included games of 183 and 238.
Tessa Bosier had a 372 (200, 172) series while Josie Runk bowled two 159 games.
