Blan 7th grade girls knocked out by Williamsburg

The Blanchester seventh grade girls basketball team was defeated by Williamsburg 26-16 Saturday in the league tournament.

Blanchester (9-8 on the year) cut a seven-point second quarter deficit to two by halftime but the offense struggled in the second half.

Karlee Tipton had seven points to lead Blanchester while Jocelyn Lansing and Emma Hartmann had four points each. Tobi Tedrick scored one point. The Blanchester coaches said Hailee Harris, Allison Trovillo, Ava George, Kendall Koch, Anna Rodgers and Bailie Bare also played well in the game.
