Breedin, Indians stop Astros 4-1

LEES CREEK — Hillsboro’s Hannah Breedin pitched a one-hitter as the Lady Indians spoiled East Clinton’s season opener 4-1 Wednesday in South Central Ohio League action.

Breedin, who has committed to Div. I Cleveland State, struck out 12.

The lone EC run came in the sixth inning when Tori Bailey doubled in Tressana Osborne.

Sierra Christian pitched well for the Lady Astros, surrendering one earned run while striking out four in seven innings.
