WC lacrosse drops 17-2 match to Otterbein

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington College men’s lacrosse team fell to Otterbein University 17-2 in Ohio Athletic Conference action at Townsend Field Saturday.

Wilmington goals were scored by Garrett Murrell (unassisted) with 10:09 to play and Austin Bondurant (unassisted) with 4:04 to play.

Otterbein held distinctive advantages in shots (61-6), face-offs won (16-6) and ground balls (24-15). The Cardinals were also a perfect 13-of-13 in clear attempts while the Quakers tallied a 14-of-26 performance in the same category.

Wilmington (0-2) travels to Baldwin Wallace University Saturday.
