Gabby Woods was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference women’s golfer of the week.

A Clinton-Massie graduate, Woods is a freshman at the University of Findlay.

She led the sixth-ranked Oilers to a second place finish in the Findlay Spring Invite at Lexington, Ky. this past weekend.

Woods was the individual runnerup in the tournament, shooting a 1-under par 215 in the 54-hole event. The 215 is tied for the third-lowest three-round total in school history.

The team total of 887 is the second-best 54-hole total in school history.
