BETHEL — The Blanchester High School tennis team defeated Bethel-Tate 4-1 Tuesday in a Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference National Division match.
The Wildcats are 2-2 overall and 2-0 in the league.
“Very happy to pick up the league win,” BHS coach Scott Shepard said. “Still have lots of room for improvement but a great and very important win.”
Kayla Dugger and Wesley Mitchell picked up a hard-fought 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) win at first doubles.
