EBER — The Wilmington High School girls track and field team competed against Clinton-Massie and Miami Trace Tuesday night at Panther Field.
Gethsemane Bray picked up the lone first-place finish for the Lady Hurricane, hitting the line first in the 800-meter run.
In the team standings, WHS finished behind both CM and MT.
Ashlynn Hickey was runnerup in the shot put. Aalyah Huff was third and Lauren Heard fourth in the discus competition.
In the long jump, Katie Lambcke was third and Ashlyn Carey was fourth. Lambcke tied for second in the high jump.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Veronica Ilg was runnerup and Elaine Menguria was third. Ilg was third in the 300-meter hurdles while teammate Melanie Brooks was second.
Heather Fryman was second in the 3,200-meter run and third in the 1,600-meter run. Hailey Fugate was third in the 1,600.
Megan Borton was second in the 100-meter dash and third in the 200-meter dash. Brianna Gilbert was fourth in the 100.
