MONROE — The Blanchester High School tennis team was defeated by Monroe Friday night 3-2 in a non-league match on MHS.

Blanchester is 4-2 on the year. Monroe is 2-5.

“It was a tough day for Blanchester tennis,” BHS coach Reilly Hopkins said.

Brian Miller and Colton Wilson posted the lone wins for BHS in singles competition.

2-Joey Haines, Bryce Bandow were defeated by Zac Fey. Jacob Montgomery 2-6, 5-7.
