WAYNESVILLE — East Clinton’s Libby Evanshine won the high jump Friday at the Spartan Invitational here at WHS.
Neither East Clinton (ninth) nor Wilmington (seventh) was a factor in the final team standings.
For Wilmington, Kaitlynn Hickey was third in the shot put and sixth in the discus.
Izzy Coomer was seventh in the 100-meter dash, Madilyn Brausch was eighth in the 3,200-meter run, Taliah Billingsley was eighth in the 300-meter hurdles.
In relay events, Wilmington’s 4×800-meter team had the best finish, placing fifth overall. The 4×400-meter team finished seventh and the 4×100-meter team was eighth.
Evanshine cleared 5-1 to top the field in the high jump. Wilmington’s Brynn Bryant was third.
Evanshine also was sixth in the 200-meter dash and seventh in the long jump.
EC’s 4×100-meter relay team finished eighth overall.
