Bradshaw 1st, WHS 3rd at Hurricane Invitational

WILMINGTON — Avery Bradshaw was Wilmington’s lone champion Saturday in the Hurricane Invitational tennis tournament on the WHS courts.

Centerville Black was the team champion, winning second and third singles. Little Miami was second and swept titles on both doubles courts.

Wilmington finished third overall.

Bradshaw had two wins, including a title match win over Spencer Drylie 8-6. Bradshaw defeated Drylie earlier this season 3-6, 7-5, 6-2.

Caleb Reed was runnerup at second singles for Wilmington.

2-Trey Reed, Collin Webber def Wright, Stehlik (Leb) 8-5; were def by Paddock, Tackett (LM) 8-4; def Whitwer, Jordan (Gv) 9-7. Finished third.
