Season-high not enough as WC lacrosse falls in finale

TIFFIN, Ohio — Despite a season-high goal total, the Wilmington College men’s lacrosse team lost its final game of the year at Heidelberg University Saturday 15-8.

Wilmington’s Jonathan Lokey led the way for both teams with five goals in the game.

Reed Beavers posted 16 more saves to put his total for the season at 193 saves, third-highest single season total in WC history.

Wilmington finishes its 2021 season with an 0-13 record and an 0-9 mark in Ohio Athletic Conference play.
