The Wilmington High School lacrosse team defeated Winton Woods 15-3 Friday night at Alumni Field.

“We finally put together a solid 48 minutes of lacrosse,” WHS coach Adam Shultz said. “We (passed) up good shots to take great shots and we played unselfishly to get the win. I’m proud that the offensive workload was distributed evenly, and the defensive unit played a solid game.”

Nine Hurricane players scored goals, with Eric Maus leading the way with three.

Thomas Halloran, Thane McCoy, Logan Camp and Austin Pagett had two goals each.

Cameron McEvoy, Nino Gonzalez, Manny Castillo and Patrick Tucker had one goal each for Wilmington.

Bryson McVay netted 10 saves in goal for WHS, now 4-5 on the year.

Wilmington will play at Xenia 6:30 p.m. tonight.
