GOSHEN — Clinton-Massie and Goshen remained tied for first place in the SBAAC American Division after a pair of games Saturday.

Clinton-Massie defeated Goshen 16-1 in the first game then the two teams picked up a suspended game and the Warriors came out on top 12-2 in 11 innings.

In the first game,

Nate Wildermuth had five hits, scored four runs and drove in four runs. Carson Vanhoose had five hits, stole two bases and scored three times.

Tyler Keck also had four RBI. Cayden Clutter had three hits and scored four times.

Kody Zantene pitched the first five innings and gets the win.

In the suspended game, the teams were tied 2-2 after eight innings when the game was halted because of darkness.

Goshen scored 10 runs in the 11th on Saturday to win it.

Clinton-Massie is 8-7 overall and 5-2 in the division. Goshen is 9-7 overall and 5-2 in the division.

Zantene had pitched the first eight innings and struck out 10. He gave up four hits and did not walk a batter.

Clutter finished with two hits and an RBI. Dakota Gasaway also drove in a run. Ethan Johnson took the pitching loss.
