Clinton-Massie was the highest seed among county schools as the post-season softball tournament brackets were released.

The Lady Falcons, 9-5, are the No. 6 seed in the Division II Cincinnati I sectional.

The high seed did not do the Massie squad any favors as it will play at No. 4 seed Taylor 5 p.m. May 13 in the opener. Taylor is 14-5.

The winner gets a likely matchup with No. 1 seed Ross on May 18 at Princeton High School. Ross is slated to play winless Indian Hill with the winner getting Batavia in the next round.

Wilmington will play in the Division I Cincinnati South 2 sectional.

The Hurricane, 5-11, will play Sycamore 5 p.m. May 10 at WHS. The Aves are 1-15 on the year.

The winner gets No. 2 seed Milford, 19-3. The game is scheduled to be played 5 p.m. May 12 at Milford.

In the Division III tournaments, Blanchester is in the Cincinnati 3 bracket while East Clinton is in the Cincinnati 1 bracket.

The Ladycats will face No. 6 seed Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy 5 p.m. May 10 at CHCA.

The Astros are slated to open on the road 5 p.m. May 12 against either winless St. Bernard or unbeaten Williamsburg.
