BLANCHESTER — Clinton-Massie finished second Friday in the Blanchester Invitational boys track and field meet at the Barbour Memorial Field athletic complex.

Whiteoak won the meet with 108.5 points with the Falcons next at 98.75.

Blanchester was seventh and East Clinton 11th.

For the Astros, Glenn Peacock had the highest individual finishing, hitting a 17-1 to take third in the long jump.

Michael Horn scored a fourth in the 110-meter high hurdles and an eighth in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles.

For the host Wildcats, Nick Musselman ran third in the 400-meter dash, clocking 57.4.

Gabriel Staehling was fourth in the discus (126-2) and fifth in the shot put (38-6).

For Clinton-Massie, JT Goings grabbed a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash, finishing in 55 seconds. Michael Moritz won the discus 140-3 and Daelin Maple was first in the shot put 48-0.

Maple also finished third in the 100-meter dash and fourth in the 200-meter dash. Collin Swope was runnerup in the shot put and third in the discus.
