Borror tennis nets 4-0 win in opener

Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School boys tennis team won its first match of the season Tuesday over Miamisburg, 4-0.

Coach Cathy Fay said Jacob Romer trailed 2-5 at second singles then rallied for a 7-5, 6-1 victory.

Caleb Reed and Parker Henry pulled out a hard-fought 6-3, 7-5 win at second doubles.

Brayden Rhoads at first singles and Avery Bradshaw at third singles lost only two games in winning their matches, Fay said.
