Volleyball officiating class to begin July 26

A volleyball officiating class will begin July 26 at Rooster’s restaurant.

Joe Davis, long-time official and instructor, will lead the class which is set to meet the first time at 6 p.m.

Davis said the class should last approximately three weeks. Scrimmages will be held at the end of the class. Rule books will be included.

At the end of the class, each participant will be given a whistle, lanyard and certificate stating they are a certified OHSAA volleyball officials.

Davis said it should take two matches to pay for the volleyball class license.
