Anteck hits line first at Lynchburg cross country meet

LYNCHBURG — Carah Anteck hit the line first Tuesday in the Lynchburg four-team cross country meet.

Anteck, who led the East Clinton girls to the SBAAC National Division championship last season, was first overall in the girls race Tuesday, edging teammate Molly Seabaugh who was runnerup. Kaylyn (ninth) and Kenton (10th) Deaton also ran for the Astros.

On the boys side, Justin Arnold was fifth overall with Zach Vest sixth and Jacob George 10th. Hayden Beiting ran 12th overall with Nick Gates 13th and Michael Horne 15th.

Lynchburg, Fayetteville-Perry and Manchester joined East Clinton on a warm day in Highland County.
