Felicity rallies to beat Blanchester volleyball

BLANCHESTER — In a tight match throughout, the Blanchester volleyball team was defeated by Felicity Thursday 25-12, 26-24, 21-25, 24-26, 11-15 in SBAAC National Division competition.

“We let one slip away on our home court,” BHS coach Rick Seeling said. “Too many mental errors led to the loss. We fought hard the entire match but also had many service and hitting errors at critical times.”

Brooklyn Bockstiegel had 13 points, two aces, seven kills and three digs. Taylor Combs totaled 12 points, three aces and four digs. Hope Blankenbeckler had nine points, 18 set assists and two digs. Payton Johnson contributed two kills and two blocks.

Madison Creager’s numbers were eight points with 10 kills, a block and eight digs. Ainsley Whitaker chipped in with eight points, three kills and three blocks. Emma Falgner had three points with seven digs. Makayla Lanham had four kills and two digs.
