WILMINGTON — The Wilmington High School volleyball team defeated Franklin 25-13, 25-23, 25-16 Monday night in non-conference action at Fred Summers Court.

Wilmington goes to 2-0 with the win. Franklin falls to 1-4.

Brynn Bryant had eight kills, nine assists, an ace and 16 digs while teammate Caroline Diels finished with seven kills, 11 assists, two aces and two digs.

Ashley Delph had six kills, two digs and four blocks. Sydney McCord contributed four kills, seven aces and three digs. Banesa Morales had a kill and eight digs. Jena Rhoads posted a kill, two assists, two aces and five digs. Lisbon Smith an assist, an ace and nine digs. Lexus Reiley finished with a kill and block at the net. Lexi McKee-Cole had a dig while Maliyah Burris finished with a kill.
