Falcons keep pace, shutout Astros 10-0

LEES CREEK — The Clinton-Massie baseball team remained tied for first place in the South Central Ohio League standings Friday with a 10-0 win over East Clinton on the EC diamond.

The Falcons are now 18-1 overall and 11-1 in the league. Wilmington also is 11-1 in SCOL play. Both CM and WHS have a league game prior to their meeting Wednesday at Paul Schwamberger Field.

Dana Eichenhorst had two hits and drove in two runs for the Falcons. JP Cantrell and David Poynter also had two hits each.

Max Murray picked up the pitching victory, hurling the final four innings. Aric France started on the mound for the Falcons. They combined to allow just three hits and two bases on balls.
