Ladycats’ relays establish 2 BHS records

FRANKLIN — The Blanchester girls track and field team set two school records Friday at the Fenwick Invitational.

The girls 4×800-meter relay team established a new standard for the third time this season by running 10:23.0 and finishing first. The foursome consists of Mckenzie Hamm, Olivia Gundler, Emma Gundler and Savannah Rhodes.

The girls 4×400-meter relay of Hamm, the Gundler sisters and Asia Baldwin set a new standard of 4:18.24. They finished second in the event.

Joe Holcomb was first for the Blanchester boys in the discus (134-5) and placed second in the shot put.
